Accessibility Statement
At the Learning Web, a project by the Stand Together Network, we are committed to ensuring accessibility and a positive user experience for everyone visiting our website or using our platform. This Accessibility Statement outlines our dedication and measures to achieve this goal.
Our Goal
We strive to make the Learning Web website and platform welcoming and rewarding for all users. To achieve this, we adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which provide a framework for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities and user-friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). Our target is Level AA for the Learning Web’s website and platform.
How Are We Doing?
The Learning Web’s website (http://thelearningweb.co.uk/clone/) is considered WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliant. All new product features released on our platform are built to meet this standard. While some older features still need improvements, the majority of our functionality is accessible, and we are actively working towards full compliance across our entire product suite.
What Are We Doing?
To ensure a good experience for all users, we have taken several measures:
- Central Team: We have established a dedicated team responsible for driving accessibility efforts.
- Employee Policies: Our commitment to accessibility is included in our internal policies.
- Training: We provide accessibility training to all employees.
- Design System: We have developed an internal design system of reusable components that have been thoroughly tested for accessibility.
- Automated Testing: We use our own accessibility checks for automated testing of everything we build.
- Manual Audits: Accessibility professionals conduct ad hoc manual audits.
- Accessibility Awards: We give a monthly Accessibility Award to internal teams that make significant efforts to ensure our products are inclusive, fostering a culture of accessibility within our company.

The Learning Web’s Accessibility Pledge
We champion global inclusion by empowering people through digital accessibility. We are committed to ensuring that digital solutions and content developed or acquired by the Learning Web meet a high level of accessibility. This means conformance with Level AA of the WCAG 2.1 or ensuring that our solutions are effective, efficient, engaging, error-tolerant, and easy to learn for users of all abilities.
We pledge that should a conflict arise between release deadlines, aesthetics, and the production of accessible solutions and content, accessibility will remain a priority.
Thank you for your support and commitment to accessibility.
